Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Professional Brush Set review + photos

I received a request for a closer look at the items in the Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Professional Brush Set, so I'm sharing a few photos of it today! The set has five brushes housed in a pretty gold and pink striped pouch. There's an extra slot for mascara or another brush, plus plenty of room to stash everyday makeup essentials. I'd say the pouch is about 1 inch deep.

The Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Professional Brush Set has five basic brushes for everyday use: a powder brush, a blending fluff brush, an angled eye shadow brush, a small crease brush, and an angled liner liner / brow brush. I would consider the brushes to be full size, though they are slightly shorter than the other brushes in my collection by ~1-2cm. The brushes in this set (from Too Faced online) have golden ferrules and pink handles with the Too Faced logo, while the Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair brushes at Sephora have black handles with pink ferrules. All the brushes are soft and made from cruelty-free synthetic fibers.

The Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Professional Brush Set is a cute and useful brush set. The design of the pouch is handy too since it has room for both makeup and brushes. Thanks for reading! I hope this quick overview was helpful. Have you tried Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair brushes? What are your favorite synthetic brushes? What was the last Too Faced product you tried?

Love,  Dovey.

  2. I'm not really the biggest fan of synthetic brushes... I use them with cream products, but whenever I can opt for natural hair I have a tendency to do just that! If they're nice and soft however, I'd definitely love to explore!

    1. Hi Sunny, Thanks for the comment! I think synthetics are definitely superior for cream! As for other uses, it does depend on the brush/brand since everyone makes synthetic hairs a little differently. I've been trying to explore more too :)

  3. But oh noes! The teddy bears, now they're naked! D: Hahaha, these look so soft and fluffy though. I love synthetic brushes, I think all of the ones I own are synthetic. Happy Sunday, Dovey! :)

    1. Hi Flyvasted, Thanks for the comment! I'm saving these for the winner, so I can't say. However, I'd guess that synthetics are less prone to shedding probably due to the nature of construction (no need to delicately glue every fiber together--- because they're all plastic anyway!)

  6. Nice timing with this post... I've been wanting the TooFaced Confection Collection to give the brand a test run with so many products. The eye brushes in that set are especially appealing. I feel like I've overlooked TF in general and feel the need to change that! I don't own any of their products, but I did order the chocolate soleil bronzer during the Black Friday sales. Can't wait to see who strikes gold and wins your giveaway!

  7. I just picked up the Too Faced Triple Threat box during Ulta's Black Friday sale. I'm excited to try them since I've never used Too Faced product before, and I've heard their primer is pretty awesome. These brushes look so soft! I've been using my Mary Kay brushes for years, plus one Chanel liner brush and a Clinique shadow brush (which is actually my favorite, lol).

  9. I almost expected to see teddy bear faces on the brushes somewhere, lol. My sister is finally getting into eye makeup and demanded some makeup brushes. Maybe I'll get her a set of these. :)

  10. I used to be okay with synthetic brushes but wow, I recently purchased the realtechnique brushes and they really changed my opinion about synthetic brushes because they are even softer than my real hair brushes. I really love the pink and gold details of this TF brush set, it's pretty!

  11. This was the first brush set I every purchased years ago at Sephora and they are still in top condition and I use them every day. I love synthetic brushes because they are cruelty-free and don't hold bacteria like real hair does. The brushes from The Body Shop are excellent as well, they stand up to wear and tear, are super soft and blend beautifully. Check them out!
