Now that the little ghosts and goblins of Halloween have passed us by, November is upon us. That means the holiday season is now in full swing! I thought the perfect way to celebrate would be to share the SpaRitual Holiday 2012 Metal collection with you today. The SpaRitual holiday collection has an eye-catching set of metal-inspired colors that are both festive and unexpected (there is not a red or green in sight)!
The SpaRitual Holiday 2012 Metal collection consists of six nail lacquers: Silver, Titanium, Bismuth, Copper, Casseterite, and Osmium. The bottles have a nice rounded shape with brown rubbery caps. The shapes, texturized siding, and rubbery feel of the caps make it easy to get a secure hold while applying nail polish. The application brush inside each bottle has a rounded shape and is easy to use.
Below, you can see a promotional postcard for the line. The contrast between the copper sphere and the scalloped details of the stormy grey dress and nails make for a stunning image. It highlights the different textures and finishes found in this nail polish collection.
The SpaRitual Metal Collection for Holiday 2012 has a variety of colors and finishes. Silver is a pure metallic silver that looks a lot like its precious metal counterpart. Titanium is a metallic steely (or rather titanium-y) grey. Bismuth is a shimmery pink-purple with some golden-green duochrome. It's complex, just like its elemental counterpart. Copper is a beautiful metallic copper with microscopic sliver flecks. Cassiterite is a pale platinum gold with golden glitter. It reminds me so much of a golden holiday ornament. The finish is lightly textured due to the glitter, but in a good non-flaking kind of way. It looks nice alone or with a glossy topcoat. Osmium is a dark blue creme that reminds me of a night sky. SpaRitual nail polishes are 3-Free and vegan.
Love, Dovey.

I was JUST looking for swatches of these online the other day and nada. So happy you have some now!
ReplyDeleteCassiterite looks like it would be perfect for me!
Hi Annick, awesome!! It makes me really happy to hear that. Cassiterite is a gorgeous holiday color :)
DeleteI like Bismuth and Titanium the most! There really are some good holiday collections around this year. I think Zoya's is pretty darn perfect, and OPI has some shades that I like as well!
ReplyDeleteHi Sunny, I love the depth in both of those colors, especially Bismuth. They're really pretty. I'll have to start making collection rounds on the other polishes as well too!
DeleteThese look absolutely incredible. I don't see any streaking! Silver looks like a perfect foil.
ReplyDeleteHi Arianne, Thank you! Silver really is a great classic silver!
DeleteAs a chemist, I love the names, haha! Especially Bismuth.
ReplyDeleteHi Larie! HAHA! I do admit that visions of the periodic table entered my mind when I saw this too :)
Deletewow~i love these colors.
ReplyDeleteunexpected set of holiday nail colors(at least for me) but,
they are gorgeous. i love titanium.
Hi Mallard Duck, I love them too, for the reason you stated--- it's such an unexpected collection.
DeleteI love SpaRitual and it's often difficult to find good swatches on the web -- so nice to see them here! Titanium, Bismuth, and Osmium are my favorites :)
ReplyDeleteHi Makeup Magpie, Thank you so much! I love seeing SpaRitual on your blog as well; you're right that there just aren't enough swatches available. It looks like you like the deeper colors :)
DeleteBismuth is calling my name! The whole collection is really pretty though! I really wished they would sell it here
ReplyDeleteHi Teri, Bismuth is the most complex of the bunch! It's a pretty purple for sure. I didn't realize SpaRitual wasn't available in Europe--- it's always nice to hear that perspective.
Deletei am drawn to osmium :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy, Thanks! I like the pureness of that dark blue :)
DeleteI love SpaRitual! The collection is lovely, although the individual shades don't really capture me except for Osmium. I have a few SpaRitual lemmings that need to be satisfied in the near future. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Liz! I'm happy that you're a SpaRitual fan too. Osmium is both dramatic and beautiful :)
DeleteI haven't tried Spa Ritual yet. I love the look of Titanium & Osmium. However, I already have a dark grey shimmer & a dark navy polish - probably don't need a second of each, right?!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristi, I hope you get to try a tester in Sephora sometime --- they have a nice selection of colors! As for seconds... :-P
DeleteFavor the Earth has a great selection of SpaRitual (and a mani-pedi set that's a fabulous gift!). I LOVE Osmium!
