"Good morning/afternoon/evening gorgeous. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a standout smoky eye". The Urban Decay Dangerous eyeshadow palette for Holiday 2012 is a smoky shadow lover's dream. It's the moodiest of the Urban Decay's three holiday palettes (see my review of Fun here and Feminine here).
The Urban Decay Dangerous palette has a jet black vinyl casing. The eyeshadows sit in a beautifully patterned tray of shadowy roses that seem ready to burst into wisps of smoke. The tray can be removed from the pouch (see below). Don't worry about it falling out though, as the magnetic force holding it in is quite strong. The pouch can be re-used to store 'makeup, pens, or prophylactics', however not credit cards, as the surface is magnetized.
With the Urban Decay Dangerous palette, achieving the perfect smoky eye is no longer mission impossible. A good spy needs to vary her looks and there are plenty of colors to choose from in this palette. Moody colors like these are my modus operandi, so you can be sure I'll be reaching for this palette often. Thanks for reading! Do you see an Urban Decay Holiday palette in your future? Which colors in this palette jump out at you? Do you wear smoky liner colors during the day, night, or both?
Love, Dovey.

I love the Naked lip junkie! It came with one of my palettes from UD as well and I used it up so quickly. I have to say this is the palette that I think least suits me, as I don't usually do my eyes up very dramatically. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteOMG this is a beautiful palette!! all the colors are bold but wearable! and the lip junkie gloss looks nicely pigmented too..
ReplyDeleteI always love UD eye shadows, this one is on my wishlist now! :-D
If I get any of the three this would be the one! I have Loaded and Mushroom on my wish list, though recently I'm really looking for understated eyeshadows that will go with bold lipsticks :) People really do change I tell ya!
ReplyDeletethis one looks more in tune with the coming season, but my choice will be the Fun Palette . Girls gotta have fun ~~
ReplyDeleteThis is by far my favorite of the three. And I love how ...loaded "Loaded" looks. Such an interesting shade.
ReplyDeleteFave shades are Loaded and Ace! Though I'm still a shadow sissy, so it looks like Feminine is more up my alley. :D
ReplyDeleteI really want to try Loaded and Mushroom! Gorgeous palette :)
