The listed notes in Versace Bright Crystal include: iced accord, yuzu, pomegranate, peony, magnolia, lotus flower, acajou, vegetal amber, musk. The fruity floral scent is bright, feminine, and delicate. The scent doesn't possess overly sparkling top notes or deep bottom notes. Most of the notes in Versace Bright Crystal mix naturally in the mid range. Pomegranate and yuzu add a mellow fruit tone with some tang and there is a hint of champagne like sparkle that extends from it. There are beautiful contributions from the Peony and Magnolia. The flowers typically have a big presence, however they're toned down in this fragrance to add just the right amount of floral richness. Finally, a warm amber and clean musk lightly round out the scent. As with many delicate scents, Versace Bright Crystal fades too quickly. After a couple hours, very little scent remains.
Overall, Versace Bright Crystal is a sheer, lighthearted, and feminine scent with beautiful packaging. The particular fruits and florals chosen for this fruity floral add a nice character to a pink scent in a sea of pink scents. The delicate character makes Versace Bright Crystal appropriate for work and those who prefer lighter scents, however the lasting power leaves something to be desired. Thanks for reading! Have you tried Versace Bright Crystal? What are your favorite pink scents? What are some of the prettiest fragrance bottles you've seen to date?
Love, Dovey.
P.S. As you may have read earlier, I imposed a fragrance ban (read about that here) on myself until I review my entire deluxe mini fragrance collection. I'm pretty desperate to get my hands on a new bottle, so I'm going to be working through these reviews as fast as possible!
I love Bright Crystal too Dovey, especially as I took it away on a beach vacation last year. I'll always think of it as my summer floral.
ReplyDeleteHi Vita, what a wonderful connection! It does seem nice for summer, as a warm season tends to amplify scents :)
DeleteI thought that this smelled good from those fragrance catalogs that sephora did earlier this year, but i'm not sure that it is quite right for me. I definitely need to go spritz it and see! Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce, I think I remember that fragrance catalog! It was fun, but I also didn't find anything I loved :)
DeleteNever sampled this one before! Will have to give it a sniff. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are motivating me to finish an almost empty Guerlain Aqua Allegoria. Hope we both make it SOON!
