REN Keep Young and Beautiful Anti-Aging Eye Cream review
REN is an under the radar skincare brand that has a growing following of beauty lovers in-the-know. REN products are full of feel-good ingredients and free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic fragrance, synthetic colors, and silicones. Recently I tried the brand new REN Keep Young and Beautiful Anti-Aging Eye Cream. As the name suggests, REN Keep Young and Beautiful eye cream serves as youth regenerating eye treatment. Ingredients like peptides, collagen, ceramide, and alpha-linolelic acid are included to plump, moisturize, and lift the eye. I also noticed that rose water was the first ingredient on the list (see below). REN Keep Young and Beautiful eye cream is packaged in a long pump bottle format, of which I am a fan. The pump makes use hygienic and convenient. The length is great since it only makes a small footprint in my skincare storage basket. The texture of the REN Keep Young and Beautiful eye 'cream' is more like a lotion, but not a serum. As you can imagine, a thick cream can't travel up a pump. It's light and sinks in quickly without leaving much a film. There may be a faint blackberry scent, though it could be my imagination. I can't assess wrinkle improvement, as I have none, however my eye area does look fresh and well rested lately.
Overall, I give the REN Keep Young and Beautiful Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($40 for 0.5 oz.) a thumbs up. I love the pump format and bottle shape. I also like the idea of anti-aging product that has a light feel and can be worn under makeup. I've been reaching for REN Keep Young and Beautiful Anti-Aging Eye Cream everyday and will probably use it down to the last drop. Thanks for reading! Have you ever tried REN skincare products? Do you prefer your eye creams heavy or light? What are your favorites?
Love, Dovey.

wow REN is getting on the Radar!!! i just check out the brand the next time im in Sephora!! i just got the BB eye cream the other day but maybe this will be up next!
ReplyDeleteHi J, I know! I do like Bobbi's skincare too.
Deletei definitely need to look at ren! I have a sample of their peel that I need to try.. and i returned the clearcalm cleanser cause it wasn't right for my skin, but i did hear great things about it! I really want to try more from the line!! lucky you that you got to try this :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce, I've tried the peel sample a few times now. I really liked it a lot--- it's what got me interested in Ren
DeleteI've been wanting some Ren in my life for a long time! This cream sounds good :) I don't want something very heavy, but a gel texture doesn't really work for me in this climate so a gel cream or something slightly creamier is usually what I go for :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sunny, I hope you get the chance to try it one day! I like medium weight products too.
DeleteI find it harder to find a good eye cream than any other skincare product for some reason. I dont really need it now - but soon I will. I am going to sample this in Sephora. The only two eye creams I have ever repurchased are Estee Lauders overnight eye repair and Clinique All About Eyes and I think both are really best for youthful eyes.
ReplyDeleteI did have a sample of all about eyes a while back; the EL sounds nice too. Getting a sample of the Ren sounds like a great idea. I can't say I've thought to sample skincare there before :)
DeleteOoh, I'll have to look into this. I really prefer light lotion eye creams and definitely prefer them in pump form.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, let me know if you do. Go (eye cream) pumps!
DeleteI've been trying out a REN night serum that I like so far, so I've been looking at some of their other products. I need a new eye cream for night time, so maybe I'll try this! I love pump packaging.
ReplyDeleteHi Larie, ooh, I would love to hear your thoughts on the serum when you get to it!
DeleteI prefer a lightweight eye cream. Adding this to my list of eye creams to consider once I've worked through all of my samples! I've just discovered REN in the past several months but I've really liked the products that I've tried from them!
ReplyDeleteI loved the REN peel and AHA concentrate from their Radiance line. It has me feeling really good about the rest of their products which I hope to try eventually. I don't use eye creams right now but this one sounds quite nice!
ReplyDeleteI've loved absolutely everything I"ve tried by REN, so I think I may have to pop this on the wish list once my Pai eye cream is running low!
ReplyDeleteWonderful review, as always, Dovey!
♥ Jessica
