Recently I had the most brilliant idea while traveling. Why not pack a LUSH Bath Bomb? They're non-liquid for airport travel, plus it disappears after one use, so you only have to carry it one way. They make your bag smell good too. With one little bomb, you can create a fragrant personal spa within the confines of your hotel room. Baths are such a great way to unwind after a stressful day of traveling and make it easier to sleep in an unfamiliar bed.
LUSH Avobath was my bath bomb of choice last time around. It's peppy and relaxing with its combination of Avocado and lemongrass. My Avobath (seen above) is slightly smaller than the full size ones they sell in-store because its from one of the holiday tins containing multiple bombs. It's more budget friendly to buy them that way, plus hotel tubs tend to be small anyway.

Love, Dovey.
This is a great idea! I don't know if I've ever taken a bath in a hotel room though. Not sure why I haven't!
ReplyDeleteThank you Procrastinator. I usually don't either, but lately I've thought why not? You don't have to put the elbow grease into cleaning the tube either :)
DeleteIt's a great tip. I tried my darnedest to stuff a Golden Wonder in my suitcases when I went to Asia but it had to be left out in the end. Good thing, too, because a lot of places in Asia aren't equipped with soaker tubs!
ReplyDeleteBut the next time I check into a hotel, I'm definitely taking a bath bomb with me. :)
Hi Liz, Yay! Interesting though about Asia not having as big tubs. The one in NY was pretty small too, but I made do :P
DeleteThat's a great idea...Sometimes I pack Japanese bath salts that come in individual packets...but they do not have the added bonus of making my luggage smell nice. I think sheet masks also don't add to the weight or space of your luggage and you can toss them out after using them...I always pack beauty samples, e.g. hair mask, hydrating face mask etc. as little beauty treats during my holiday.
ReplyDeleteHi Beauty Box, it sounds like you've been doing this for a while now! I think the idea of being able to discard / make room for things you'll take back from traveling is just a great idea in general!
Deletethis is a good idea! the avobomb is totally my favorite, and I've been taking baths daily at my hotel here... just have been trying to save the $ of getting a bath bomb to put towards other products haha!
ReplyDeleteI just flew from Italy back to the US with two bath bombs in my. Checked luggage, but when I used one tonight it was dense, sank like a stone and didn't fizz. I theorize that the potential fizz was released when the airplane ascended and then the bomb condensed upon the airplane's descent.
