Allure Beauty Blogger Awards 2012 final results + what's next

          Hi ladies! I'm writing with the exciting final results of the Allure Beauty Blogger Awards 2012 contest. Thanks to a combination of editor rankings and your votes, I am a runner up to the Allure Beauty Blogger of the Year!!! (See Allure's official announcement here). The other winners include:

Shannon from Gloss and Dirt - Allure Beauty Blogger of the Year (Grand Prize winner)
Bailey from Making Up the Midwest - my co-runner up to Allure Beauty Blogger of the Year
Brooke from Blushing Noir - 'Miss Buzzworthy' for having the most tweets/likes

         So what's next? The beauty blogger of the year and runner ups will be featured in the October 2012 issue of Allure. If all goes according to plan, we'll have our pictures taken and be interviewed for our blurbs! If anything 'photographable' happens during that time, you know I'll be sure to share it with you here on this blog. I owe a big thanks to the Allure editors for hosting this contest; it was an amazing opportunity to compete, and more importantly, learn. Thank you to the other fourteen bloggers who traveled the same path; it was an honor posting alongside you. Finally, thank you for your support and readership throughout the entire process. While it is great to be recognized in the contest, it is your warmth and comradery that makes me feel like a winner in my heart!

P.S. In case fellow tweeters who saw me tweet the good news a few days ago are asking 'what was the holdup between tweet and post?',  I'll let you know that in typical Cute and Mundane fashion, I was looking for the right photograph to go along with it  :)
